Attention NGV advocates: I find this hard to believe but Rick Santorum, running for President says natural gas is for trucks but no good for cars because it adds $15,000 to the cost of the car and the cylinders take up too much room...sounds like typical spoiled politician who is a border-line elitist...who can't be bothered with whats good for this country atitude. I won't be voting for him. Doesn't he know about the new CNG station that recently opened up in the Strip District of Pittsburg? Is he out of touch / generally glib? The adder for a Honda Natural Gas Civic is ~$5000.

Is EPA/CARB certification regulations impeding the availability of NGV (natural gas vehicles) in this country? Is there an affordable process for individuals to do there own EPA/CARB certification for limited/unique registration available vehicle types?

According to cngprices.com the price for gallon (guage equivalent) to fillup at the ONG (Oklahoma Natural Gas) refueling stations is $0.78 while Californians are paying $4.00 a gal for gasoline. Wake up America...
